Recently, the college's Student Symposium for the Second Semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year was held online in the form of a Tencent conference. The Executive Vice President of the college, all the staff of the Academic Affairs Office, head of the Student Office, the teaching directors of each department and 30 student representatives attended the meeting.

The 30 students who participated in the meeting gave speeches one by one regarding this semester’s online teaching, the performance and psychological state of their classmates, and their difficulties and confusions in learning. The teachers from the Academic Affairs Office and the Student Office carefully listened to the opinions and suggestions of the students, and conducted online communication on the teaching materials, the second class, book borrowing and other issues raised by the students.

Li Bai, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, said that the Academic Affairs Office will communicate and coordinate with the leaders and teachers of relevant departments of the college in a timely manner to ensure the smooth progress of students' learning activities. At the same time, the Academic Affairs Office will cooperate with the Student Office and the Psychological Counseling Center of the university to provide psychological counseling for the anxiety caused by online learning during the epidemic to ensure the physical and mental health of the students.

Finally, Yan Xuyang, Executive Vice President of the college, delivered a speech. He first affirmed and encouraged the students' performance and enthusiasm. At the same time, he put forward ardent hope that the students will seize the opportunity of current social development, study cultural knowledge, lay a solid foundation, constantly temper themselves, and strive to shape themselves into excellent tourism youths in the new era.
